Default Brutal Football Hit...In May!.... In Japan!!!!

Check out this story from Japan. A good sized linebacker takes out the opposing QB on the first play of the game well after the ball had been thrown The player stated he was ordered to do it by the coach. Clearly this Japanese coach studied under the Saints' Sean Peyton.

Full story and clip of the hit can be found here: http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2018/0...-in-japan.html

PS: I had no idea they played American football in Japan!

PSS: maybe they should call that play "the Pearl Harbor"

Default Wow!

Wow! I think that should be called criminal assault or just plain chicken "fertilizer" for hitting the QB from behind!

On football, had some fun yesterday substituting for one of the PE teachers at a local high school with my co-teacher being the football coach. He was unpacking a couple of brand new helmets they had just gotten in. These are pretty amazing and surprisingly heavy at least from what I remember. And still, the XL size was a tad small for my melon ......... But they have all these inflatable elements inside the helmet for a very precise fit and no movement around of your head inside the helmet. But I will say this, putting on the helmet generated waves of old memories!

You sank my aircraft carrier, lol! That hit was brutal BH. Evidently the guy was injured and out for three weeks and the coach resigned. Just goes to show dirty play never works out.
