If I were only limited to 5 patterns I think I would select: Black or Olive Wooly Bugger, Prince Nymph, Elk Hair Caddis, Hairs Ear, and a blue Dun.These 5 have donr the best for me in N.Ga. Mountians over the years. I have fished alot of the streams and rivers, but not all of them and the my favorite pattern will very from Stream to stream.

Try these and olso check the steam review page on the NGTO home page and that will tell you what fly is doing best on what streach of water.
